I'd been running my consultancy since 2021. Things were fine. I had a decent network, a solid reputation, and work tended to come my way through referrals and recommendations.
But deep down, I knew it wasn't sustainable. Networks fade. Referrals dry up. And without a real system, I was always one quiet quarter away from panic. (You'll discover why that happens early in the Fractional Formula course.)
Like many consultants, I was a LinkedIn lurker, watching others build visibility while I stayed comfortably invisible. I'd followed Dan's posts for a while and could see he was onto something, but I never actually did anything about it.
We connected, though, because I knew, deep down, it was time to take my business seriously. It wasn't just a stopgap between jobs anymore. It needed to become something real.
Then, inevitably, the moment came. I hit a slump, felt stuck, and decided to reach out. (Dan will tell you this behaviour is predictable, and he's right.)
I'd seen the Fractional Formula mentioned before. It looked impressive, but let's be honest: this was just some random guy on LinkedIn, right? Could I really trust him? Would he take my money and vanish?
So I did what any rational sceptic would do: I checked him out. Properly. I spoke to a few of his past clients, and every one of them was glowing. I even met one in person who couldn't have been more positive.
So I took the plunge. And honestly? I've not regretted it.
Well... maybe a little. The workload is, shall we say, committed. But it's been invaluable.
Each week brought a new focus, a new challenge and, yes, a new piece of homework. But every task built on the last, and you could feel the momentum building.
Halfway through, I hit a wobble. I couldn't keep up, the sessions clashed with my diary, and I felt like I was falling behind. That could easily have been the point I drifted away.
But Dan wasn't having it. He stepped in, pulled me up, dusted me off, and got me moving again, this time 1:1. That personal coaching was what made the difference. It kept me in the game and got me to completion.
Even after finishing the formal programme, I'm still catching up on my "jobs to do". But now:
- I have structure.
- I have a roadmap.
- I have the tools and systems in place.
- Most importantly, I have Dan in my corner for the next nine months to help me keep moving the dial.
Here's the thing: I still dislike the central tenet of all B2B soloists, LinkedIn. But Dan's approach changed that for me. He showed me how to make it work my way, with clarity, confidence, and credibility.
This week alone, I've had two new business calls that came directly from LinkedIn. One even said, "It's clear you've done the work we need, and my boss has seen your posts." That's the magic of visibility done right.
I've been genuinely surprised by the sheer amount of value packed into the Fractional Formula. The tools, the workflows, the templates: they're practical and ready to use. And Dan's guidance has been second to none.
He's put so much thought and effort into this programme that it's impossible not to get value, if you're willing to do the work.
For me, the Fractional Formula hasn't just built my business. It's changed how I run it.
